In Jin Shin Jyutsu the liver and gall bladder are represented by the third depth. This can be tonified by holding the middle finger loosely and conscioulsy in the other hand. This can be done for 6-36 exhales or as long as one desires. This assists in processing the emotion of anger and frustration which is associated with this depth and these organs.
Healing Tao - While sitting, lightly place the finges of both hands just below the rib cage on the right side of the body. While slightly bending forward and onto the fingers, exhale. On the outbreath, sub-vocalise the sound "shhhhhhhhhhh" - this tonifies the liver and gall bladder. As you breathe out, visualise all anger, resentment, grudges and frustration leaving. And as you breathe in visualise patience and kindness entering.
yoga - All stretching is loved by the liver as it ruled the tendons and ligaments and loves the space stretching creates bith physically and mentally. Emphasize side bends and twisting postures to work on the gall bladder, whose meridien runs all the way down the sie of the body.
Poses that stretch the inner thighs are loved by the liver whose meridien makes its way up from the second toe side of the big toe. Flicking the big toe against the second toe 36 times is a great way to stimulate the meridien. Try it first thing in the morning!
