Hi everybody!!! You all probably know me from the cybermacro forum- I'm pretty out spoken... This is so cool! my own web page- this rocks! Anyhow, I am 22, I go to college and I am studying Theater arts and I will be Sophmore in the fall at Temple U. I have been studying Macrobiotics for the past seven years; my first book having been _You Are All Sanpaku_ by George Ohsawa. (He is my personal hero.) My other heros include Michio Kushi, Denny Waxman, Leonardo DiVinci, Benjamin Franklin, Claude Monet and Mr. Yoshikawa.

In my spare time I like to Swing Dance, waste time on the computer, participate in the Macroforum message boards, cook, rollerblade, buy shoes, read books and draw and paint. I also like languages and study French and speak German (as I used to live there). I am seriousley intrested in Nine Star Ki and study that as a hobby.

The reason that I started Macrobiotics in the first place was beacause of an eating disorder (Bulimia) and severe depression. I owe my sanity to Macrobiotics since three months into my practice the depression cleared up on its own. The eating disorder took a little longer (like three years) and some Macrobiotic counseling to change my condition enough for me to be able to stop. Thanks to Denny Waxman, for his counseling help, and Melanie Waxman, for her teaching me how to cook, I have changed my direction towards a brighter path!

I live in Philadelphia and I have no plans to move anytime soon, as I am qutie happy in this yin valley! The people are friendly, the environment is relaxed and plus there is Essene- who could ask for anything more?? I also go to Denny Waxman's School of Strengthening Health and Macrobiotic Counseling. See the website with the link below. This school is as good as the KI, in my personal opinon. I interned there, in the Housekeeping Dept. and Kitchen for five months and I learned alot. However, Denny has a unique approach which is easily understandable and ready for practical application.
