Old Text School of Macrobiotic Learning
Welcome to the temporary site of Yin/Yang Station, currently under construction as a permanent web site.
The main purpose of Yin/Yang Station is to help clarify the principles of an ancient Chinese dialectic that utilizes a primitive form of science to quantify, qualify and classify all physical phenomena in the universe. It is a science that, theoretically, can reduce all observable physical components of any material form, animate or inanimate, down to a singular elemental form that is determined by one predominant aspect of invisible energy -- either its negative (yin) or positive (yang) force. While both negative and positive energy aspects mutually co-exist in all things, there is always one force that appears more dominate than the other. Quite often this is a subjective analysis, relative to the inherent characteristics of the observer. Since all individuals are unique with their own perceptions of reality, it stands that opinions will slightly vary when a yin or yang designate is given.
The viewpoints expressed at Yin/Yang Station are those of one person -- Roy Collins, founder of the Old Text School of Macrobiotic Learning, with over thirty years of experience and teaching according to the physical model of yin/yang dialectics as it was originally defined by the sage Fu Hsi in China's neolithic era. Yin/Yang Station does not seek to convert anyone to a particular lifestyle, nor does it align itself with any religious persuasion. All queries relating to the yin/yang principle, regardless of topic or application are welcome and will be answered in a timely and respectful manner. Once the permanent site of Yin/Yang Station has been established a select number of these queries, along with answers, will be posted (names and email addresses will be withheld.) An archive of various healing topics will also be available, as well as articles, monthly health & cooking tips, on-going class schedules, book, movie and music reviews, and more. I look forward to meeting you and to freely share my knowledge with you.
In peace, Roy
