| The weather has been rather odd round these parts lately. It seems to go between rather chilly and very hot each individual day. Since I have been seasonally adjusted with my diet for a while now, this has made the grocery shopping and cooking rather confusing and tricky. I have been mixing my yin and yang in different ways everyday and really dont mind eating that way, as it doesnt seem to have much of an impact on my body or behaviour, as it is still perfectly balanced and macrobiotic but just not very consistent. This morning I tried a delightful winter-ish dish for breakfast made of pressure cooked butternut squash with pine nuts and some wholegrain organic pasta. It was very hearty so I plan to eat some light meals during the rest of the day, it is cold now but should get warm so I might make a salad. See what I mean by limbo? I never thought I would balance my meals in terms of the weather during not just the seasons but the actual day! haha, its kinda fun though to play with my meal planning like this. I am almost dissapointed that winter is coming up. |
