This group is for people that are into the macrobiotic diet and philosophy (including yin and yang, etc.) to post their favorite recipes, ask for information how to cook something, request a recipe using certain ingredients, ask about cookware, utensils and related hardware or share what you know about these things.

It is not limited to topics strictly defined as macrobiotic, but rather seeks to explore the truly large view of life promoted by the great macrobiotic people and teachers who have preceded us. Subscribers of the Macrobiotic Heart Journal may wish to discuss the issues raised in the newsletter and other issues that may be of interest to them. It is intended to help people in their understanding of the macrobiotic approach to the issues they face in their daily lives. People are welcome to introduce subjects, philosophies and viewpoints from any area that they have found to have personal value.
