hi. i just recently found out i have a systemic yeast infection with a varying range of symptoms from colitis to difficulty breathing, to pain in coccyx area. colitis is well under control with careful diet, but the pain in my coccyx becomes unbearable every time i sit for any length of time. according to doctors, it's not broken, so something is inflammed and the bone pushes against it while sitting. it's been six months, though, and no one has a cure. the breathing thing too. i have a hard time taking deep breaths so i get yawning attacks to get enough oxygen in my lungs. it gets worse when the weather is humid, or when i eat certain foods. feels like something is blocked. i've had this yeast infection for almost two years and am desperate. doctors don't know--and some don't care--how to treat it. i'm convinced i can do it through diet and natural remedies, and would like to try macrobiotics, but it seems like a lot of foods on the diet i can't eat: miso, tamaria sauce, vinegar, mushrooms (all fermented). i also seem to be allergic to corn and wheat. what am i supposed to eat then? (i'm a vegetarian). i would really appreciate it if someone has any suggestions. thanks so much. |
