I have been very curious about Macrobiotics for some time now and have been gradually adopting some of the philosophies behind it into my lifestyle and diet. I do have a question about yeasted breads- whole grain ones of course. In general, do I have to give them up completely in a Macrobiotic diet? Is it something I can still enjoy on a regular basis? what are the effects on the body and mood when yeasted breads are eaten? I am referring to healthy whole grain breads and sprouted breads that contain no preservatives or refined sugars/flours. thanks! |
