Well, it's going to be one of those days...I just called Mountain Ark at (800) 643-8909 to see if their web site was up yet and the person who answered the phone went this way: The operator said that the site wasn't up yet. I told her that I heard that the site was down because of non-payment of a couple of hundred dollars. She said that they were thinking of taking it down anyway because they don't really get a lot of orders and it's more hassle than it's worth. I said what about the services it provides on the forum that helps a lot of people and she said, basically, that if it wasn't making money, they weren't interested, that they were a company that was doing well anyway, but that even so, helping people was something nice to do. She bailed and told me to call back after 1 est and talk to somebody that knew about it. I said was that Crystal White. She said yes. It would be nice to be able to save all that information and interaction...here again, it's the dollar that feeds arrogance...Bill |
