Is Thermal cooking healthful, balanced?

Recently, I saw an infomercial for a thermal cookware product airCore - The Walk-Away Cookware: ( http://www.buyitnow.com/detailed.cgi?pcode=26010000000&item=73721 ) "The Only Cookware that Does the Cooking for You! Now you can make delicious home-cooked meals for your family every night of the week — and you don't even have to be there. It's the only cookware in the world that does the cooking for you."

and remembered seeing a product in my Goldmine Catalog (1-800-475-FOOD [3663]) Thermos Nissan Thermal Cookware (it say's "shuttle chef" on the outside of the cookware!) ( http://www.vita-tec.com/nissan-cook.html ) "Savor each delicate flavor, while knowing that your vegetables, soups, sauces, rice, and other foods are nutritious and healthy. The Thermal Cookware uses patented vacuum technology to achieve the ideal cooking of foods."

Cyber Naturals Catalog ( http://www.cybernaturals.com ) has VaporSoft Cookware ( http://www.cybernaturals.com/shop/dbsearch_s.cgi?CONFFILE=/home/cybernaturals/www/shop/shop.cfg&Department=Vaporsoft-Cookware&MAX_ITEMS=6 ) "From Fogacci in Italy, this is the unique VaporSoft stainless steel cookware in which steam pressure between the walls of the pots cooks the food at a constant 220F to retain nutrients and flavor. Food won't stick or burn."

And then there's the Expressware Infusion Cooking System from T-FAL ( http://www.buyitnow.com/detailed.cgi?pcode=26010000000&item=73706 ) "With the Expressware Infusion Cooking System from T-FAL, you can cook all your favorite foods up to ten times faster. T-FAL’s patented Express Charger naturally compresses heat and moisture inside the cooker, creating a super-heated infusion force that actually forces the heat back into your food."

What happened to good old fashioned "stand by the stove until the foods are done" cooking?

Can health-supportive cooking be improved upon?

What do you think?

Thank you, very much.
