Thanks for the info Bruce. You were right I did buy my sour dough bread from a wholefood store!! Even the dog would'nt eat it!! So I've now got my starter in the cupboard!! Which book would you recommend for bread making, you mentioned a couple? I need the most practical one. There is such a lot to learn(and even more to unlearn!) about food, I've been getting it wrong for years! Incidentally Bruce, the email I tried to send you kept getting returned with a message that my server coudn't send an email to your server I don't really know what that means. I'm having to teach myself computing and the internet too as well as macrobiotics!! My brain has never been as busy for years and I'm enjoying it all. |
