Hello all, I have several questions that would help me to further my macro practice. 1) I had my appendix taken out at the age of 10, it had nearly burst. What is the function of appendix in macro theory and how should I adjust my diet if I don't have it. 2) In the last couple of months I got into drinking Raja's Cup, it's marketed through whole food stores as an Ayrvedic preparation, supposed to be a hundred times more effective at neutralizing free radicals than vitamin C. If I remember correctly, it's made of ground Winter Cherry, Licorice, Clearing Nut and Kar... The taste is clean and bitter and crave it occasionally, like my body needs it for something. Is it OK to use? 3) It was very helpful to learn about the danger of Canola oil. I had an instinctive mistrust of it. What about Saffron oil? I also hope it's OK to use unrefined Sunflower oil, which was a staple in Europe. 4) Finally, in the last month I enjoyed visits to Russian-Turkish steambaths. The Finnish sauna has dry heat, which patches up my lungs. The Russian steam bath uses hot steam, sometime permeated with pine, oak, birch or other natural fragrance which comes from tree branches or herbs soaked in the water. The Turkish component is pools of cold water you plunge after visiting the steam room. Traditionally, the steam baths have a cafeteria with beer, kvas (fermented bread drink) and some light foods, and an outdoor area where you come out naked so the body can breathe through its cleared pores. What would be a macro take on that sort of enjoyment? Thanks! Misha |
