This is my second try with acorn squash, the first was one we found in the garden when we came back from a two week vacation. After baking it, Ed and I both decided to throw it out. I bought another yesterday and brought it home, it was so hard, I couldn't get a knife through it to "cut in medium sized peices" (as per reciipe), so I marched back to the store and my produce man cut it in half for me. So now what do I do with it to make it edible? Or even better than edible... I'd really go for delicious. Thanks in advance. I always get good results from the forum, even if my luck's not quite that good with the stove... ~Stephanie |
