Roasted Grain Teas.

Dear David, Thank you for the recipe for roasted grain tea, posted to Gregory in the Chronic Lymphacytic Leukemia Thread.

"Use mildgrain teas mostly (dry roast any grain like rice, wheat, millet, barley, seperately till quite brown. then take 2 tsp. and put it in 2 cups water and simmer. You can use one grain or mix a few for variety. Keep a stock of several jars on your shelf.)"... Do I understand you correctly, that I may roast a bunch of a single grain, and keep it in a glass jar ready to boil for tea?... I looked all over for roasted barley tea in NY after reading Annie's Cooking Chat but no luck, now I can make my own! I can't wait to try it. Is it alright for initiates (2 1/2 mos on macrodiet) or do I need to check w/ my counselor first? ~Stephanie
