: what do u suggest re the alternative

It would be helpful to know if you have any plans on changing your diet to a macrobiotic diet and then to continue with it as a regular part of your lifestyle, or if you are looking simply for a way to remedy the situation for now and return to a diet high in fats, sugar, etc. sometimes a dignosis of "collapsed" gall baldder means folded over or completely blocked. Are you jaundiced (yellow) with pain, nausea, etc? If not, you may want to get a second opinion. If you have all these symptoms and a second opinion corraborates a collapsed gall bladder you may have to get the operation to prevent further problems. As long as your diet is predominately whole grains and veggies, with hardly any fats you should do all right san G.B. I hope this helps. Inpeace, Roy
