If you are on NY time, I am 7 (not 20, where'd that come from??) hours ahead. 2:00 p.m. was comfortable - makes it 9:00 p.m. here - but 5:30 there, makes it 12:30 (midnight) here - I could have done that yesterday, but then I went to sleep super late, and woke up early, and not certain I'll be up with the midnight oil tonight.

I remember the first chat I experienced, I was so high after, I couldn't go to sleep til way in the wee hours of the morning. And Gary, I am forever indebted to you for that!!!!!

a couple things before the chat - have you downloaded java? - without that it doesn't work. And if we're lucky and get several people to join us, when replying to someone's post, don't use pronouns - it gets so confusing, just as our posts earlier overlapped, there all kinds of remarks overlap and it's sometimes confusing what is being referred to, eg, yes, I agree with that - now several points may have been made, and not clear which one "that" is.

Also, there are two areas in the bottom to type (well, more, a private area also where no one else can see the exchange), one is ask, one is send - when there is no guest speaker, don't use ask, just send. the ask area needs a facilitator working the board, which takes some learning (I haven't learned it)

anyway, if we don't succeed in the chat room, still it's wonderful to see more posts again in the forum.

Okay - 7 hrs ahead of Ny - how's about trying it out again tommorrow Monday May 7. around 2pm here-9pm there - I think I have Java script. I have a Mac OS10.4 I posted something in the chat lobby a couple of times to experiment.

NY 2:00 p.m. today, Monday is great - at least as far as being awake - hope get no distractions that cause me to forget.

I did see something on the chat, but pushed a button too soon - where I saw it was a board, which isn't viewable to everyone - make sure you type in the bottom box, where it says "send" not where it says "ask."

Looking forwarding to experimenting some more tonight.

Yes it was fun - tho I have to admit I'm having a love/relationship with this computer - I really am on it way too much.

But I think I would like that - and would love if others could join us - the more different opinions/thoughts/voices expressed, the more interesting it can be. Anyone else out there interested??

any day, Sunday thru Wed, 2:00 p.m. NY time works for me - just say the word.

How's about Mondays ? What day/ time is preferable to you?

Anytime before 2:30 Newyork time is fine for me.

I have to leave and pick up child fromschool at 2:55pm.

ay, it's already Monday!!!! I'd rather not start later than 2, which is 9 here -

maybe another day, not today, maybe some of you others out there would also like to start up a regular chat session??? so if we give heads up there would be more people joining us?? 1,711 members here!!!!! Isn't that amazing??!!!! Must be someone who'd like to try out the chats, no?? Just seems statistically should be so

not that I wouldn't enjoy continued private chat with you, but it's a different bowl of beans when several join in the chat.
