Enhanced Mode

I came a little late for the chat so I might have missed if there were any parameters to the discussion. During the course of the discussion it was fuzzily in the back of my mind, but hit me strongest when Bita asked what kind of birth controls do people use. Suddenly a large span of my life swimmed in my head - from my wildest days of singlehood and fear of getting pregnant, to being married and going through both wanting to be pregnant and also dreading being a mother, to motherhood and loving being pregnant and birthing, to post-hysterectomy and pregnancy not at all an issue involved with sex. Just like any other discussion with mb, we're all at different places in this adventure in life. But was strange to go through all those memories in such a flash.

In my religion, it is said if you save one life, it is as if you have saved the world. Bita, I was sorry to see so few showed up at the chat, but who knows where in their lives they are, and how this information can even save one life, a marriage failing because of sex, a woman desparate to get pregnant. It could be a flippant subject, it could also be very serious. So perhaps something in the discussion might have had a tremendous impact on one of the eight that showed up.

Unfortunately, there were some "pregnant pauses." Perhaps with a larger crowd, there would be more energy flowing. I hope alot of you out there can come to the next chat and add your specialness to it.
