Red face Vibration

Hi,

I have started the macrobiotics diet for more than 1 month now and recently I ve started waking up in the middle of the night with a feeling of vibration (whole of my body). Is it normal or is it only the fruit of my imagination?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Lamy

Re: Vibration

Hi Lamy

I would have to know what other practices you're doing besides macrobiotic practice, and also what your macro diet is like before I could wager an answer.

The vibrations could be a sign of several things that I can think of. For example it could be the fruit of consistent extended periods of zen meditation, (or other types of silent prayer). Also a symptom of ketosis in the body which may occur if you were very overweight when you began... however, without more information, I'm just probing in the dark.

If you care to tell us more. I'm willing to hear.

ihl, Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

Thank you for your interest.
Well, the Counsellor told that I am suffereing from extreme yin and yang. I have strated to do the do-in excerise recently as well. But I have been praying for many years now.

I am 30 years old, rather thin, suffereing from hypoglecemia, sinusite, acnee, thryoid problem, and God know what else

But since I have strated the diet even if not using 100% macrobiotics and bio products - still unavaialable in my country- I feel much better. And since years now I feel energy inside my body.

I have even strated to wake up early in the morning and perform the sun rise prayer.

In my diet I am consuming 40 % grains, 25% beans, 30% vegetables, and 5% fruit, sea food, oil, and seeds.

Hope this helps.

Thank you again for you reply.

Lamy

Re: Vibration

Hi lamy,

Great! you've got a counsellor. Guess most of us who were many years on a diet of increasingly artificially produced and unnaturally grown animal and plant and boxed and canned and "enriched" and "stripped" food substitutes suffer from extreme yin and yang, to say nothing of what the multiple medicines this dies necessitates - which tend to add to the imbalance.

You mention you can't get everything macro in your country. There is a site link right here on cybermacro where you can order anything your counselor advises that is not available to you. Maybe even some order places in your country. (BTW what country are you from?)

You mentioned:
"I am 30 years old, rather thin, suffereing from hypoglecemia, sinusite, acnee, thryoid problem, and God know what else"
Yes, God does know, and so does your body, and God has given your body the "knowledge" how to heal itself, if you provide it with the tools, which you now are doing!.

You will have many "symptoms" as you continue to practice the macrobiotic way of eating, Do In, prayer, chewing, singing, being grateful, and working honestly and diligently without being rigid. We tend to think of most of these as "discharges" , and good signs that the body has begun to tear down unhealthy and build up healthy tissues. Stay in close touch with your counselor, especially if symptoms are severe or last over two weeks... s/he may be able to suggest a slight change in your diet that with remedy, or slow down the discharge process without interfering with the healing process. (Whereas, drugs and Rx medications often sabatoge, or impede the healing process and put an extra burden on the body). Of course in some cases some medical treatments are necessary - then the proper macro diet can help the body "survive" the treatment. (I'm of course referring to extreme cases that have progressed too far to wait for the natural healing process to complete, and death is eminent - then sometimes a combination of macro and conventional treatment is necessary)

As for the vibrations, it looks like the diet has simply freed your body to be more sensitive to the prayer that has been your habitual practice, and you may be experiencing the rising of the kundalini, which often responds to prayer as well as to yoga and other types of meditation. The awakening of the chakra have long been know to occur as a natural result of both zen and Christian meditation and prayer. See Phill St. Romain's web site for an excelent description of his experinece of the awakening of the kundalini from the Christian Standpoint. Unfortunately, I don't have that link with me in NY - but I think you could find Phill by just putting his name in your search engine.

If this phenomenon becomes problematic, or you begin to show signs of sleep deprivaion. Lack of energy, appetite, depression etc. Then of course consult your counselor.

As for your macro diet, I didn't see dark leafy greens, nor sea vegetables mentioned. Hope you're including some of these too, Very important for mineral content and vitamins too.

Sounds to me as if you're doing very well, and experiencing good results.

Best wishes, and Namaste,
Stephanie
