Allison,

The thread started with people seeking natural birth control, having sex but with natural methods to prevent having more children.

Abstinence was suggested but the fact that the people were looking methods that involved sex and also that abstinence is such a hot button issue (the U.S. government promoting abstinence both for sexually active teenagers in this country and as a condition for aid in countries needing assistance at fighting things like AIDS), sort of got me going!

We seem to forget that macrobiotics has all sorts of people getting involved, whether it is/was John Denver, Cesar Chavez, and Doctor Benjamin Spock, or evangelitical Christians, Muslims or Orthodox Jews, so there are many folks from so many paths that all have feeling, ideas, and beliefs about how things should be done.

I apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings or offended anyone's sensibilities with my remarks, as it was not my intent.

Please forgive me if I have hurt or offended.
