Re: anovulation

Hello guess you posted a while ago. I wonder the same because I am already thin and now thinner with a narrow macro diet. Are you little too? Lysia

Re: anovulation

Hello how do you know you are not ovulating? Have you seen the book Taking Charge of your fertility awarness? It is intensive yet amazing. I am just now charting my cycle with these charts from the book. They say anovulation could be from stress, travel, low body fat, ect. I have been on a more narrow diet and I have yet to ovulate this month. Are your cycles long? Sometimes we ovulate and do not know because it can be waylayed. I have a microscope to see if I am ferning, chart basil temp, and cevical fluids are noted carefully. I am avoiding pregnancy I have two kids, but I want to make sure I am still operating as my womanly body should. What sort of lifestlye and foods do you eat? I do not know the answers yet maybe if we piece together clues we can figure us out. I do know womens bodies are capable including yours to feel balanced again so dont give up, as diet really helps fine tune. Lysia

Cool Re: anovulation

The book that you, Lysia, are referring to is Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health by Toni Weschler, MPH http://www.ovusoft.com/ and http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/006...83155&v=glance

Another excellent book written by a longtime macrobiotic obstretrician-gynecologist, Dr. Christiane Northrup, M.D., is Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom: Creating Physical and Emotional Health and Healing http://www.drnorthrup.com/health_sto...manswisdombook see Our Fertility in Table of Contents on page ix http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0553...=0#reader-page
and also http://www.drnorthrup.com/womens-health-fertility1.php

Be Well.

Re: anovulation

A hormonal imbalance could be going on. Progesterone is the mother/command hormone and must be present in sufficient amounts to balance the other hormones, with age, progesterone decreases greatly.

There is natural progesterone cream sold in health stores that helps women have regular menses and prepares the body for pregnancy. I would never recommend synthetic prescription hormones. Many herbs work in balancing this too.

Re: anovulation

In response to the progestrone remedies, I too have had irregular menses, it runs in my family. I'm also on a restricted #3 healing diet (lysia it takes 3 months at least on the diet to see results...hang in there!) and am waiting on regular cycles, i took myself off of the pill about 2 months ago. I suggest taking vitex, also called chasteberry fruit extract. It's a natural supplement that can take 3 months of regular use, but it helps the body to regulate progestrone. and good news, it's about $5.00 for what lasts 6 weeks! I dont know about you, but that's much cheaper, nevermind better for your body, than the pill that my doctor all too easily threw me on!

Re: anovulation

Hello, I actually have regular periods, this month took a little longer due to stress. You do not ovulate on time if there is stress. I did ovulate and in 12-14 days I will bleed. I was wondering if I wasnt ovulating ion time because I am very thin as one doesnt if there is not enough body fat. I am a rarety being quite yin and thin. The three mos thing sounds great and feels good mostly- at accupuncture they said I needed to eat more widley. Guess I should see a counciler. I need money!!! The Fertility Awarness book is great cause you can actually see if you are ovulating and when. It is great!! Lysia
