Dear Dianne, A child of the 1950s and 1960s I love making friends but I find the before friendship, there must be acquaintanceship, that is one must make the acquaintance of someone else. If two acquaintances after some time of getting to know one another (and maybe, doing something together or for one another) decide that they really like each another then friendship often follows. Do you understand? Natural friendship follows a certain path and that path has not been taken between us!
