To enable me to provide links etc. I have moved this blog to my website at

The purpose of the blog is to provide a record of how I was able to live macrobiotic in Thailand. Initially when the doctor said diet, I thought where I live in Thailand would be the worlds worst place but now I am beginning to think the exact opposite.

At the same time before I retired (18months ago) I was an international schoolteacher, and it was not so easy establsihing healthy shopping patterns. So my doet slipped a bit; my major culprits were coffee and sugar, and cheese.

In my job I was very strressed inwardly, often sending bullets down to my digestive system. Although this never...

I am on a macrobiotic diet. I'm looking to meet with others on this diet to share recipes, discuss the lifestyle and compare notes. I've recently visited the Kushi Institue in Mass. & met with a counselor to discuss my health issues. I love this diet.
