Re: kidneys stones

Hello,

I also have kidney stones. I get pain inmy lower back every now and then. They are horrible little things eh? I see that no one has relied to this post. Maybe another interested/infected person could initiate a response. Does anyone know of any good remedies in dealing with kidney stones. Of course, I will take this advice under the discretion of a doctor, but I know there are people who know more, in some cases, than people with degrees and doctorals. Thanks.

Re: kidneys stones

Hi, I'm new here and BARELY macro anymore, but I am currently suffering as well. Let me add my $.02 for what has recently helped me some.

First of all, I've started drinking a glass of warm water with the juice from 1/4 of a lemon, first thing every morning. Also, my herbalist friend gave me a NASTY tea to drink with Queen of Meadow, Hydrangea, Cornsilk, Parsley Root, Ginger, Marshmallow, and Lobelia. I have to drink 1/2 cup for about 10 days, then I can routinely drink something better-tasting, and in moderation.

The sharp pain decreased within an hour after my first drink of this tea --psychological? who cares! And just yesterday (after 3 days) I began to notice that the throbbing pain in my right kidney was not quite there anymore. Halleluia!

Hope this helps. PS -- I came here looking for the macro spin on how to fix the stones; still looking...

Peace, Light, Love, Laughter,
Bo

Wink Re: kidneys stones

hi guys! here i am again. this time to tell you that i have a new recipe to get my kidneys alright. one macro counselor told that is very good: toast some adzuki beans turn off the fire and then put some water, let that water rest and drink the liquid in the morning. i have already read some recipes of adzuki drinks but this sounds me a little different. i will try and i hope it works. she told also to drink one thing called "mal de piedra", do you know it ? had some good results? hope this is a good new.

Re: kidneys stones

Here's a mostly-Oriental-herbal formula: gold coin grass (lysimachia, I think), eucommia, & corn silk tea. I don't like corn silk tea, so I drink some alisma separately. You can buy these herbs in chinatown.
