Treatment of Eczema/Discharge

Hello. I am new to this site but was wondering if anyone out there can help me. I've been transitioning to a macro diet for about a year and I recently did a hijiki detox bath. The next day I broke out in what looks like eczema (some are bubbles that pop out a clear liquid) all over my lower legs, particularly my left leg, and also my left forearm and left fingers. The condition has worsened, is very itchy, sensitive, and sometimes painful. Now, I know this is a serious discharge, but I've made an appointment with a dermatologist for a topical treatment (no pills for me) since I'm becoming worried. Before my appointment, I was wondering if there is some other way to treat this condition while I focus on a strict diet, such as a topical home remedy, and a specific diet to follow. I would like to avoid the visit all together, but it is rather severe. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

is it really a discharge or your skins reaction to maybe the iodine in the seaweed?

I'm not sure. How can I tell? It seems like a discharge since if I try to pop them a clear liquid comes out. Also, they are very large and severe.
