Talking Looking for the Macrobiotic basis training in Japan

Hello CM Friends,

Do you have any idea or information about the MB training school (English version) in Japan? I would like to take a one-week course during my vacation in September 2005. I learn MB by reading and compromising myself. Unfortunately MB is not so popular in Thailand so I have to find some knowledge out of Thailand.
Thank you very much
With best regards from the warm Thailand
Lak

Hi Lak,

A good person to contact on this would be Tomoko Gerzon.

She is originally from Japan and hopefully can direct you to macrobiotic educational resources there.

Gary

Re: Looking for the Macrobiotic basis training in Japan

Two things:

1) I know Michio Kushi has sponsored the startup of a Kushi center in Japan. For information, call Michio Kushi's office in Brookline, Massachusetts, at 617-232-6876. Ask where it is and if it also in English (I don't think so, but you could try.)

2) Hiroko Kobayashi, a female cooking teacher and now certified Level 4 Kushi graduate, lives and teaches in Tokyo and may have additional information for you. Her number is (from the U.S.), 011 81 42 342 8806. She ordinarily teaches classes in Japanese, but she also speaks some English now. Ask her for other connections as well.
