macrobiotics in Amsterdam

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Kushi Institute of Europe located in Amsterdam.

Re: macrobiotics in Amsterdam

Hi Bita!

I have been meaning to drop you a line and say hi!

I was at the KI in my native Holland in 2002.

If you swing by my website

www.littletree.com.au

you can read the travelogue if my journey and see the pictures along the way which included Level One of their Art of Life course (in a castle in the countryside!) and courses athte KI HQ in wonderful and beautiful Amsterdam.

It was quite an experience.

Holland is a great macro place - one percent of the population of Holland and Belgium (where there is also great mb activity) describes their lifestyle as mb!

What consciousness! It is a great place to explore mb - probably a bit different to that in the US and the rest of the world - but each culture brings its own nuances, I guess.

I visited there briefly in 1995/1996 and although I did not do courses there at the time, I saw a lot of changes and more insight the last time I was there.

It would be great to see discussion here of various macro places round the globe...there are interesting centres I have seen online in france, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. Apparently even the Queen of Belgium has someone cookiing mb meals! Maybe the macro fairy tales at the macroscribe forum are not so far fetched!

Hi Ilanit,

Thanks for your reply. I am going to check out your website. I live in the U.S., in New York, and I've been thinking about coming to Holland to study macrobiotics.

It would be great if there was more chat and info about foreign macrobiotics.
