Herbal remedies in macrobiotics
I am big fan of books by Rosemary Gladstar and Laurel Vukovic, which give herbal remedies (herbal teas, tictures, compresses, baths) for different helath and mood ailments and to assist in detoxification or cleansing of body systems. I was wondering if herbs are categorized as yin or yang as a group, or if they are divided based on their source. Does orthodox macrobiotics support the use of herbs? Is there as specific book that addresses this topic at length? Many thanks.

Here is a great thread from the forum that gets into a bit of a debate over the useage of herbs and spices in Macrobiotics. Gary |
