Animal foods
I start this thread, even though I think the subject has been discussed before. I got a reply from Bruce Paine. He wrote that he thinks he can get all the protein he needs from grains and beans. I also assume he feel agressive from eating animal foods. See the thread "too much food?" to read his reply.
Bruce, do you think there are no other substances in animal food than just protein? What about fats, sugars, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and co-factors like alpha lipoic acid, carnitine, etc. etc. That helps digest the protein. What are your thoughts about how our digestive systems are built? That it resembles a carnivour digestive system. Since I eat meat, eggs I feel more calm, not so easily upset and less agressive yes. I eat some animal foods raw. I also feel that I heal myself everyday, or I might say the animal foods I eat heal me.
Ofcourse I think it is very good to eat as little animal foods as possible. And I also feel that I still need grains.
