I will really appreciate your opinion

Hi all
I am new to macrobiotic lifestyle (I start just two weeks ago) I have many doubts in my mint. I have been diagnostic with endometriosis two years ago, I also have a laparoscopy surgery two years ago and since then my husband and I have been trying to conceive a baby with no good results, Before I made the change in to macrobiotics we have decide to follow an In vitro Fertilization Procedure. Do you thing that this is a good time for my to make the change in to macrobiotic, the IF procedure is very aggressive, but in the other hand I want to be in a very well valance diet.
I am apologize for my English it is not my first language.
Thank you.
Juliet

Juliet,

One place you might start is with The Macrobiotic Path to Total Health: A Complete Guide to Preventing and Relieving More Than 200 Chronic Conditions and Disorders Naturally by Michio Kushi and Alex Jack (Ballantine Books) http://www.qualitynaturalfoods.com/s...345439872.html.

Michio and Alex address a variety of reproductive disorders in that book including endometrial and endometrium on pages 164, and 184 including how to eat and what remedies to take macrobiotically.

Also, Dr. Christiiane Northrup's book Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom:Creating Physical and Emotional Health and Healing http://www.drnorthrup.com/health_store-cn-lit.php also addresses endometriosis quite extensively.

Both of those books should help you improve your situation, somewhat.

Also, get a ($4.) copy of the May /June 2004 macrobiotics today "Raising Healthy Families" issue (800-232-2372 http://gomf.macrobiotic.net/Newsletter.htm) and read the inteview with Diane Avoli (who has had eight macrobiotic kids and who teaches cooking at the Kushi Institute).

Afterwards you might want to e-mail her with specific questions.

Let us know how things go.

Thank you, very much.
