Hi everyone. I am sure you are all so sick of these "i'm new" threads but I do honestly really need some advice on starting out and this seemed like the best place to come.
I honestly dont know too much about the macrobiotic way, I have read a few things but nowhere near enough so could do with any reccomendations of books etc. I have never eaten the macrobiotic way before but I was vegan for a few years and then during pregnancy started eating meat and stuff again (the cravings killed me!). SO now i want to get back into things, get healthy and generally sort myself out and this seemed like a good way to go. Any book and site reccomendations will be extremely appreciated, Halle :p |

Re: new starter...sure your sick of these...!
Hi Halle,
Welcome to CyberMacro, A good book to get started with is the Self Healing Cook Book by Kristina Turner, http://www.qualitynaturalfoods.com/s...lcookbook.html If you have not visited it already, the Kushi Institute web site has very good reference material on Macrobiotics, www.macrobiotics.org By all means, let us know how you are doing as you venture into Macrobiotics.
