Moles

I am 23 years old and I have over 100 moles on my skin. I have had them since I was a young child and I was wondering if there is a natural cause for this and if there was a certain macrobiotic diet that can get rid of them. I have a couple of books on macrobiotics and it only mentions moles with skin cancer. Please let me know if there is any diet I could use to get rid of them. Thank you.

Re: Moles

Hi,
I have a lot of moles on my body too. Small ones... only two of them have I had since my youth, and these two are larger then they used to be. (I'm 69 y/o). I haven't noticed that the macro diet had any effect on the moles. However, I did have lots (uncountable lots) of red "moles" and tiny pitichiae (sp?) on my skin, which have been disappearing since I went on macrobiotics. They were more recent than the moles. And perhaps the moles will be effected with time. But I'm no expert

I look forward to reading the responses you get. Welcome aboard!

In Glow: A prescription for radiant health and beauty http://www.penguinputnam.com/Book/Bo...?id=155788370X, Christina Pirello says "Like other abnormalities on our skin, moles and other growths are a form of discharge of accumulated excess. Moles warts and other bumps have specific causes and need not be a scourge on our perfect skin.

Moles come in a variety of colors and textures, from bluish black to brown or flesh colored and from smooth and flat to rough and hairy, but are caused by excessive consumption of protein or by chronic overeating, particulrly of dense fats. With this as the cause, in Asia, moles were said to form on egocentric people prone to indugence. With proper eating, moles can fade, reduce, and even drop off the skin."

You can keep up with Christina at her site: http://www.christinacooks.com/.

Thank you, very much.

Re: Moles

Hello again, Bruce,
Thank you for your reply. I can confirm what you/Christina say about the moles. I had one that almost went away completely. Then I ate poorly for a while and it came right back. The same with the red spots on my skin. They're real "tattle-tales" for how successfully I'm balancing my diet.
Thank you,
