Re: Ms.... !

Natural Healing through Macrobiotics, by Michio Kushi talks about curing MS within six months. The instructions begin on page 142.
Good luck to you and your wife.

HI I have a question and couldn t find any source to get the answer, would you be able to help me? Is it possible that use of miso and soya souce(even the bio=organic ones)could cause unwanted yeast and therefore gas and dificulties with digesting?

Hi Nefrita, and welcome to CyberMacro!

As far as yeast/Candida, some people find that miso exacerbates these problems and many others find it helps. I have never had this problem with miso myself. The main culprits are sugar, yeasted breads, fruits and processed foods with invisible molds on them, and alcohol. Candida outbreaks are a sign of a weakened immune system. Best to experiment with miso after eliminating all other potential causes of your problem, to know for sure how it is effecting you.

What has your experience with miso (and soya sauce) and yeast been so far?

Mara
