Time for Time for Time for Time
Hello Everypeoples!
I am Takeo Kushi, a Kushi-Spawn able to bounce among the best of em' anyways, I wanted to give you guys a couple links: www.worldmacro.org -This my brother's, Yogen Kushi's, site, here you can find various info and links to some international macro organizations and centers and his "Non-Credo" E-newsletter. Non-Credo's popularity grows everyday! www.Ionia.org -Ionia is a macrobiotic Community in Alaska, they mostly have pictures, but there is also a short accompanying description. Hope to post more. P.S. Anyone here tried #7? I just gave it a short run and I was wondering if anyone else has done it and what they thought of it. |

Re: Time for Time for Time for Time
Hullo, Takeo! Welcome to CyberMacro, if I'm allowed to give welcomes around here.
Diet #7 sounds a bit intimidating, never tried it myself. I do plan to, however, when I'm ready. A hearty "Well done!" to you on doing it yourself. |

Re: Time for Time for Time for Time
So, Takeo, besides doing the #7, and promoting a couple of links, what else are you doing?
Besides doing an outstanding job with the NonCredo Newsletter http://www.worldmacro.org/newsletter...etterindex.htm and the World Macro site, Yogen is also a web designer http://www.yogenkushi.org/ and still finds time to act in theatre http://www.thetheateroffensive.org/about_us.html . Of course, you probably know about one of my pet projects: The Online International Macrobiotic Directory http://www.macrobioticdirectory.com which I am still building and you can add so macrobiotic related links there, too, if you wish (everyone is invited!). Have you been to Gen M (Yahoo) http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Gen-M/ , yet? Check it out as they are always looking for new voices in the second (and third) generation macrobiotic community. If you really like looking up macro links check out the linkage at Yahoo Groups Macro (YGM) http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/macro/links . Thank you, very much. Bruce Paine |

Re: Time for Time for Time for Time
So, Takeo, what do you do besides promoting your brother and grandfather?
Do you work at the K.I. in Becket, live at Buckminster Road and assist Michio, or what? Also, have you taken any of the levels at the K.I.? I believe Yogen has besides also having attended Emerson College in Boston. Do you have any other siblings and first cousins? Thank you, very much. Bruce Paine |

The promotion was more of an excuse to make a fabulous debut into the world of CyberMacro. At the moment I'm between high school and college and have been assisting Michio with his lectures and traveling. I have no plans to ever do the levels at the KI. Yogen has indeed done all 4 of the levels. And I have plenty more siblings and cousins than you'd ever want to know about. -Takeo- |

Re: Time for Time for Time for Time
Fabulous?
That sounds more like a fashion statement, Takeo! What's wrong with studying macrobiotics at the K.I.? Don't Kushi family members get to take the levels for free? If so, I imagine that lots of people would love to be in your shoes. If not a serious student of macrobiotics, what is your passion, your dream, or what you want to do with your life? Do you know or do you want to get some more work and life experience before you decide? Regarding your siblings and cousins...since it appears that two of you are intimately involved with developing and implementing Michio's big dream, I think it would be of great interest to many people to know of the other up and coming Kushis and possibly what role that they could be countributing to the grand scheme of things. Thank you, very much. Bruce Paine |

The other Kushis aren't really involved. I have another brother, Tenji, in Art school out in LA, I have a cousin (Angelica) who is somewhat involved in the Macro world and she's at Sarah Lawrence College, My other cousin Lianna is at Smith College. All the other siblings are all too young to be heavily involved in the Macro world. The most heavily involved of the Macro pods is Yogen, with me bringing up the rear. Since I am absolutely directionless you can expect a lot of hodge-podge nonsense from me as far the macro world goes. I am an overly serious student of Macrobiotics, which is part of the reason I avoid the KI. I have been to the KI several several times in my life, and seeing how things were done and who taught and other things has led to my decision to not want to learn there. -Takeo- |

Re: Time for Time for Time for Time
Takeoism,
Looks like, to me, as if you are following the noble masterless student of macrobiotics approach. You have been reading macrobiotic books? Which ones are your favorites? I might suggest that you delete the post that you are responding to before finalizing your post. Everyone will still be able to follow the thread, and the website owner will appreciate the diskspace saved, I'm sure. Welcome to macrobiotic cyberspace and enjoy the exchanges. Thank you, very much. Re: Time for Time for Time for Time
It's been a while since I read any macro books. I liked Gospel of Peace, Michio's small book about the prehistoric world, GO's Art of Peace, and the Book of Macrobiotics is great.
Lately I've been reading all sorts of books, most having some marginal relation to macrobiotics. I've read a couple books by James Churchward about the Lost Continent of Mu that Michio talks about in the small book. I've been reading about Sokushin breathing, a breathing Technique created by a Japanese man named Nishino, a pupil of his attended the past summer conference. I've also recently completed the Harry Potter series, which were as good as anything. -Takeo- |

Re: Time for Time for Time for Time
Takeoism,
Yes, I've also read all the Harry Potter books except for the most recent one. Have you also read The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings? Back in the early 70s there was a very hairy fellow who measured 4 and 2/3 (English) cubits, weighing a little more than 21 stone with the first name of Treebeard, who made latigo leather goods and lived in a ecotopian village called North Beach. That was before he stode across this great land, changed his diet, losing a third of his great weight, most of his excess hair while following the spiral path and the way of the gentle pendulum. Having strode to and settled in various corners of this great expanse, he is now settled in a place where the buffalo are white and the eagles, tenacious, where a great folk once started a fight over the price of tea. Have you yet read Sounding The Sacred Conch by Jerome Canty? Forgotten Worlds is the book you were describing by Michio with Ed Esko? Start breathing, now: http://www.nishinojuku.com/english/e...e_key_txt.html . Thank you, very much. Bruce Paine |
