Rashes on skin due to cold

Since last 2-3 yrs i've been having ugly red rashes on the skin of my legs in cold weather! These rashes appear only if it gets cold... first my skin would swell like a mosquito bite then it turns red and the swelling subsides.. and the red rash goes away in 4-5 days.. but they appear on the entire legs... now they've spread to my buttocks.. and sometimes on my arms.. these rashes pain when i press them...sometimes the rashes have a little pus head in them and they are very painful like needle... i've been taking homeopathy mediciens for them but they dont seem to be helping.. would someone happen to know the name of the disease...

Yes, I totally understand what you're going thru. I have had the same symptoms for the past five years. The first doctor I consulted told me that he had a woman that had the same thing....she died.....DON'T WORRY....I got a second opinion. The second doctor fell to his sit and listened attentively at my symptoms and stated that he only knew of one other person that experienced this......HIM. He told me that it was a skin disease called COLDARTICARIA.....An allergic reaction to cold weather. It is literally a pain in the butt, however, we have found that taking antihistimines helps a little. Otherwise, stay indoors during the winter and stay close to the fire! God Bless and Take Care!

my husband is miserable he breaks out at the first sign of cold if he gets hot and sweats it goes away but when he is broke out and takes a shower it burns and itches terrible please tell me there is a cure.thanks
