article in MACROBIOTICS TODAY,on eating after lunchtime

In the years between 1992 and 1995 about, I have read in MACORBIOTIS TODAY an article, that explained very well, why our body is not programmed originally to eat after luchtime any more.
Is there someone who can help me find this article, or knows other literature on this subject?
Thanks very much

Re: article in MACROBIOTICS TODAY,on eating after lunchtime

First of all welcome roland333 to the cybermacro mesage board.

I did hear from my doctor that our metabolism slows down after 4:00 p.m. and eating is pretty bad because our bodies are designed for resting after that certain time and eating hinders the body from doing so. Unless your like me and you get excercise at night after work rather than in the morning. I hope this helps. I will search on the internet for more information and send it to you. Good bye for now and once again welcome!

Re: article in MACROBIOTICS TODAY,on eating after lunchtime

Thank you, Felisha for your kind interest,
I practice vipassana(buddhist meditation type) for some 12 years, and in the way i practise it, we use not to eat after noon, what is very beneficial for practicing this technique, but as well for general lifestyle. I find it difficult, not to eat dinner, back in normal settings, as the whole world around eats at any time. but more often than not, after a period of not eating after noon, my metabolism seems to prefer not to take in solid foods, and reacts even kind of hurting. but it seems to be not easy to maintain this and not loosing contact to general society.

I cant find any references, but I now personally my hunger is greatest in the early morning to about just afternoon. I would research how chi flows through the body at different times of the day.
