Burdock Root
Burdock root is a very long dark root (brown with hair and musty scent). It can be found fresh in the produce section of an Asian Market. Do you live in NYC or ny state? Asian sections of the city would have burdock root, in season. If out of season, it might be hard to find. One of the rarer macrobiotic foods and not necessary to a beginning healing practice.
