Kathy Williams is on a distinguished road
pernicous anemia and macro

My little sister Debbie who is a avid vegetarian has been having problems with low energy, depression and forgetfullness. A medical check up revealed that she has very low B12 and has what could be the beginnig stages of pernicious anemia. I am worried for her.
The doctors gave her a B12 injection and she has had more energy and stamina now but they perscribed a diet for her of animal organs such as liver, sauasages and a lot of other things wich she does not eat regularly to kep her B12 high. She believes her problem however is low stomach acidity wich is keeping her from efficiantly obsorbing the vitamin. The doctors are thinking of looking into this and possibly seeing about a bacterial overgrowth or parasidic infection wich could also be stripping her body of the vitamin.
I personally believe it to be a stomach thing. Weak stomachs run in the family and I am no exception. What are some natuaral ways for her to boost stomach acidity to obsorb more of this vitamin? I read that things containing chloride boost stomach acidity and these include salt, rye, sea vegetables, sea foods, celery, olives and tomatoes. I was wondering if she began eating more of these things would the problem clear up or be eradicated. I read somewhere that the disease is irriversable and possible fatal in some cases. If you can give me any natual alternatives besides the doctors advice I would appreciate it thanks.
