Smile detox from Aspartame use

Hello

This is my first time in participating in this forum and i hope all of you are well

I need please to know what kind of food i can eat to detox the body from a long use of Aspartame which had caused an anxiety disorder (which is now cured thanks to homeopatic treatment)but which had kept the accumulated toxins and sudden slight weight gain of 3 kg which is not going out since 4 months even though i eat healthily and am exercising more regurlarly and have done a detox cure from herbs.

Thank you for your kind assistance.

ciao/Tania

Hi Tania. Aspartame is really nasty stuff and has been implictated in a number of health problems, particularly MS and auto-immune disorders. Giving the extreme yin chemical up completely was the best thing you could do for your health. Switching to the standard macrobiotic diet should be enough to help detox from the aspartame over time. Give yourself a good 1-2 year transitioning period, eating a wide variety of greens, soups, and whole grains. Try to minimize salt and use only a small amount of miso every toher day. Make sure the broth you cook for the miso has scallion and seaweed in it.

What detox herbs did you use: milk thistle, dandelion, burdock, licorice, red clover? These are all good but one of the best is chlorophyll which is in most green foods, especially ALFALFA. Chlorophyll is a blood purifier due to its high vit. K component. Some health food stores carry liquid solutions of this with is flavored with mint oil. Follow the directions on the bottle or simply drink the tea ( 4-5 cups daily).

In peace, Roy

Smile Detoxification

Hi Tania,

I would try a colon cleansing, this is the best way to detoxify the body and also fasting helps greatly in detoxification. Also eating only organic foods is a really good thing for no chemicals will enter the body.

COLON CLEANSING AND DETOXIFICATION

EXCELLENT Book: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bowelc..._cleansing.htm

Cheers,

hi Katie

thanks a lot for your info. Actually i am searching for a colon cleansing or whole body detox because i have a bloated belly since 2 months and i know it is due to my body getting rid of those old accumulated toxins and i feel tired, irritated and nervous. I will check the sites you suggested.

Detoxification - colon cleansing:)

Hi Tania,
Sure, I'm glad I could help I would also definately read the book by George Ohsawa (english version by William Dufty) called "You are all Sanpaku". It is very inspiring and has taught me to eat only macrobiotic. Eating only organic brown rice, organic cabbage soup with carrots and organic lentils. And staying away from all refined sugars, sweets, meat, flour, bread.

I'm starting my colon cleansing tonite, my husband and I are starting it tonite and fasting at the same time. Coffee and other organic ingredients will be used in the colon cleansing. I would recommend reading that book first and then start the colon cleansing. In seven to ten days only, everything bad in the intestines will come out, and you will no longer feel any bloatedness, tiredness, depression. It's because there are bad toxins in the intestines in which makes us depressed, tired, fatigued, angry etc. Also, eating macrobiotics before colon cleansing won't help at all for it will not help absorb the food properly. So I would still eat only organic foods and do the colon cleansing, and then once everything toxic is out of the intestines, organic foods (macrobiotic) will be soooooo nurishing to the body and you won't feel tired, any anger, depression, bloatedness.

I hope this helps you as well...

kind regards,
katie
