Goop Soup
Another dish I make I boil shaved burdock root, onion and rolled oat until I've got a creamy soup. It can take up to a couple of hours, then I throw in broccoli until it's bright green. At this poin I add just enough rice syrup to where you think there is something sweat but your taste buds are not really sure.
It really taste great, but again, what have I've done macrobiotically... Thanks Tom ![]() |

Tom, you are cooking the life out of all the food you are eating. Back off a little on clock. You should be able to make a nice soup within 20 minutes. No need for the syrup. Start the broccoli at the same time as the other veggies, maybe start by water sauteeing a little onion, then add the veggies, broccoli first, burdock last. We cook from yin to yang. Try your recipes and aditional questions regarding cooking and dishes on the Macro COOKING forum. You'll probably have better luck there.
In peace, Roy |
