Hi Ayman. It seems like you need to speak to a medical malpractice lawyer since either the dental machinery was defective or the dentist (or assistant) had poor understanding of the cleaning procedure and/or your condition.

In the US all dental and medical equipment needs to be first approved by a scientific council to make sure the public is protected from harmful devices. I don't know the standards in your country but there must be some measure for protecting the public. Did you go to another dentist and ask if this is normal to happen? You should get another dentists opinion.

Anyway the damage to the surface enamel of your teeth may also be due to a systemic condition and lack of ability to process calcium sufficiently. Quite frequently coffee, sugar, and cigarette tobacco will take away calcium stores from bones and teeth, making them weak, soft, and/or brittle.

My suggestion to help rebuild calcium stores is to eliminate those products that take away calcium. Then you need to eat more calcium rich foods such as green leafy vegetables and a variety of seaweeds. You can lightly roast sesame seeds in a dry pan and then grind and use on brown rice and other grains.

Green tea has the ability to re-mineralize teeth(because of natural flouride component). So drinking 5-6 cups of green tea (add a little mint leaves if you like) will help strengthen teeth and bones. Calcium supplements, like Calcium citrate or new oyster shell supplements (see former posts on osteoporosus) may also be useful at this time. Also you may want to start using more CULTURED soy products, such as miso, tempeh, and soy yogurt.
Soy products in general are a good calcium source but when they are cultured they increase in absorbability.

I don't know how long it will take for these cracked lines to go away as they are due mainly to mechanical injury. Make sue you also use good quality, natural form of tooth paste with Peelu or Baking Soda base (buy from health food store). I hope this helps.

In peace, Roy

Dear ROY,

Thanks a lot and ill do what you said. However, for the lawyer part it’s not that of an interesting idea were I live and yet, I will not get a thing from them :p . I understand you, but we have so many poor systems as well as knowledgeable people too.

Thanks again and I hope we talk more.
Ayman
