More Info Please....

Gab. This is a sign of being too yin or too yang. Maybe you can let us know what your basic, daily diet is like in order to offer you some suggestions. Age would help as well. Are you new to macrobiotics? Thanks.

In peace, Roy

Red face

I'm 21 years old
I'm 178 cm long and I weigh about 79 kg

I can't really specify my diet but most of the days I have about 3 sandwiches in the morning (cheese,ham..), at noon i have a normal lunch, sometimes beans, rarely meat.
At night I usually have a burger or a chicken sandwich or ordinary chesse or ham sandwiches.
I often drink tea or coffee during the day, and some fruit.

Hi Gab. You need to change your diet as it contains too much animal food, fat and protein and not enough green foods or whole grain. This makes digestive problems and thinking/energy levels get dull from lack of blood oxygen.

You can begin by eating only one cup of cooked brown rice per day with a litle sea salt. Back off on all animal food except sea food. Tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread with lettuce, tomato, etc is OK for now but no fried burgers. Eat more green salads with natural dressing on it. No pizza with cheese - no cheese at all. Steam or boil all vegetables, lot and lots of them with vegetable based soup daily. A little miso in the soup will help
you immensely. You may need to take acipohilus supplements and begin incorparating small amounts of fresh water blue-green algae into a soymilk or fresh vegetable juice drink (no fruit smoothies though!) because you are lacking enzymes to break down proteins properly. This will help alkalize the body. You can also eat a little fresh fruit during the day. No rice cakes, no tofu, no peanut butter, or commercial or raw sugars. FOr you once in a while honey is ok.

If possible eat a little bit of shaved raw daikon daily. This is good to help dissolve excess oils and proteins in body. Try to use only a small amount of beans throughtout the week for now -- chickpeas, black bleans , aduki, white navy beans are all good -- however too much will compromise intestines more. WHen you cook beans use a small piece of kombu seaweed in the bean water or 1 teaspoon of sage. This will help cut gas.

You should also buy ginko leaf tea and mix with peppermint tea and green tea together. This will flush oxygen to the brain and has a good taste. You put a little piece of ginger root in the tea as it steeps. Ginger contains powerful enzymes as well.

You need also to tae longs walks and find time to do bending exercises to strengthen muscles in the intestines. So now you have a place to start. Look for macrobiotic cook in your area and make appointment to take lessons. You need to learn more on macrobiotic theory. Bodyy will soon begin to level off and thinking will be more clear. Check back in with us after 3 months and give us a report of your progress.

I hope this helps.

In peace, Roy
