Parkinsons

I have a friend of mine who's suffering from Parkinsons. Without research, I'm not quite sure what causes it (from a macrobiotic POV). I'd like to also know if there are remedies in the meantime that they could be doing to relieve themself of the movement and pain. I understand this is merely advice and I do appreciate any that comes my way. I'd love to help them out!
