pains
Hey friends, I need some advice, but this time for a friend. He has strong stomach pains that prevent him from doing much during his day. They can absorb all of his attention. He doesn't take any pain killers but he has gone to the doctor and they've verified that he 'appears' to be perfectly healthy - he doesn't have any of the typical diseases associated with this but he does have Hypoglycemia.
right now he only eats fruits and vegetables and protein (but is vegetarian) because these hurt him the least. Yet he lacks vitality from these foods. I also wonder if he is suffering from some yin condition because he says it feels like his stomach will explode. (expansive) He is extremely skinny nonetheless - boney really and looks very yang to me. Thanks for any help. |

Re: pains
I'm sorry your friend is having stomach issues; I totally feel his pain. I had this problem for many years of my life and was told by my doctors that I was perfectly healthy as well--maybe just a little IBS that's all. I didn't buy it. Through research of my own I found out I had gluten intolerance, the protein found in wheat, rye, barley and oats. Since I have been off of gluten containing foods I am totally free of tummy issues. This does make eating even more of a challenge since I have been trying to go completely macrobiotic, but I feel so much better. I can eat all the brown rice, millet, quinoa I want.
