Upcoming Macrobiotic Chats at CyberMacro, Sunday April 23 + 30

Both chats take place in our chatroom located here

Chat with David Briscoe on Acid and Alkaline Theory Health, April 23 @ 2pm Eastern Time

Acid-alkaline has become a hot topic in the world of alternative health. Michio Kushi's recent book, The Macrobiotic Path to Total Health, is full of references to acid-alkaline. Over thirty years ago, the late Herman Aihara brought the theory fully into the macrobiotic world with his still popular book, Acid and Alkaline. Join us for this discussion with David Briscoe, the teacher who has further developed the acid-alkaline theory, as it combines with macrobiotics, into an in-depth and practical approach to health and well-being. Even macrobiotic foods can be acid-forming if we aren't aware of how to select and prepare them. Learning to eat in a more alkaline-forming way can be a real step forward for everyone, no matter what diet they choose.

David Briscoe is one of the most experienced macrobiotic teachers, counselors and chefs in the world today. Since 1972 he has gained expertise in every facet of macrobiotics, including personal practice, teaching, counseling, professional cooking, restaurant ownership and center development. He and his wife, Cynthia, operate Macrobiotics America, offering the first macrobiotic distance learning courses via the internet, from a wonderful workshop on acid and alkaline health, which we now offer for sale at CyberMacro, to training for those that want to go on to become macrobiotic counselors. Also, there are many offerings for those seeking help in being new to macrobiotics. To find out more about David, click here

Chat with Ginat Rice on What does it take to be macrobiotic? April 30 @ 2pm Eastern Time

Many people understand that macrobiotics is the best way to live, yet they have difficulty following through. Of course it is natural for us all to go in waves of stronger and weaker practice, but is there some underlying quality that one needs to truly stay consistent? And how much is enough? Is there a bottom line that we dare not cross? To find our more about Ginat, click here
