Re: Transcript of Sunday's Chat with Ginat Rice, Food Issues
I have never managed to make it to one of these chat sessions, because I look at the list of topics in the Macrobiotic Health Forum and note the date of the thread where they are announced in advance to see if it shows any activity since 02-05-2006, 10:50 AM, and it never does.
I just now discovered that one must open the actual post to see if it has been edited recently! Wondering if this might account for the low attendance at chats, people looking for new announcements (as I was) and always seeing the same date in early February instead of a reply posted more recently? It had me fooled... |

Re: Transcript of Sunday's Chat with Ginat Rice, Food Issues
Blue Dolphin,
But yes you were at one of the chats, it was a small intimate one, but I enjoyed it very much. Hopefully if the chats continue at the regular time, people will get used to it, just like their favorite tv shows :>) I have to admit, even I forgot last Sunday and felt disappointed in myself that I forgot. I have so enjoyed all the chats. It's kind of like these posts, but getting answers immediately and answering back immediately is more satisfying. Remember you mentioned you enjoyed the kind of chat where you can actually hear the voice of the person. You said it was quite easy. I'll look forward to that as my computerese improves. For now I'm very very happy with the chats, both with a guest and also the intimate ones with just a few of us. And I love that Gary posts the transcripts - everytime one reads info, more of it sinks in with repeated readings. This is a wonderful idea, Gary. I also hope more people realize what an opportunity it is for learning and also for sharing. Klara |

Re: Transcript of Sunday's Chat with Ginat Rice, Food Issues
Why not post the upcoming chat information as a *reply* in the "next scheduled chats" thread? That would bump the thread up to near the top of the forum list (each time you do it). You might even be able to make it a "sticky" topic that will stay permanently at the top of the forum list.
