None Sanpaku eyes
I work in a care home for the elderly
All of the residents are on medication for health problems, many of them serious conditions, most of the residents are in their last days. Their diets are shockingly poor as far as macrobiotics go (it is about average for what old people seem to eat - white bread, suger in tea, jelly, cake, cereal with milk and sugar, a cooked meal with meat potatoes and veg, a sugar and white flour pudding of some discription). The only plus side to their diet is that they don't have very big appeitites. So why do several of the residents, who are obviously not in the slightest bit healthy, have none sanpaku eyes (even when they are looking slightly upwards) I noticed the other day one of the staff (at least) has none sanpaku eyes, her diet is worse than the residents and she smokes, used to have drink problems, gets no exercise, is stressed, and has health problems. (again though, she doesn't eat that much) So what is Sanpaku eyes ment to show? Thank you Mark

Re: None Sanpaku eyes
Mark I know what you're talking about. Upon observing people, I realized that they are actually quite yang - the people I know without Sanpaku eyes also eat heavy amounts of meat. Remember, they are trying to subtely balance their bodies between meat/sugar, it's just more difficult to do. That's my guess.
Also is cigarette smoking yin yang or niether? I thought it was niether? |

Re: None Sanpaku eyes
Also I've been noticing that my eyes are MORE sanpaku as I get physically more sensitive, and are especially so in the morning. Sanpaku is just due to inflammation of the eye, which is a yin condition, due to expansion. I've noticed many vegetarians and vegans that are Sanpaku because thier diets limit their foods.
