"Dragon Breath"

Hi guys,

I was wondering about a reaction I seem to have with my toothpaste. I have Nature’s Gate, Crème de Mint toothpaste, and most times that I use it, I notice soon after that my throat becomes dry. I have also seen a correlation between my dry throat and my “Dragon Breath”(or smelly breath). I know bad breath has to do with an overall weak condition, liver detoxification, putrified animal protein in the intestines, rotting food particles in the teeth, and certain foods like garlic. Did I miss anything? I have a haunch that my toothpaste- with mint, is responsible for my dry mouth and bringing on this bad breath right after I brush with it. Is my haunch correct ?

What’s a better toothpaste to use? Do some macro’s use dentie, salt, or baking soda to brush their teeth?

Juls

Dragon Breath

Hi Julian,

We are always changing toothpastes (do other people do this? I have noticed this to be something of a macro phenomon) Right now we have about 6 different tooth pastes in the cabinet- everything from dentie to something called Kingfisher, which tasts like anise. In any case, I have noticed from experience, if bad breath arises it is either from too yin or too yang.... try umeboshi. If that dosen't work, drink some beer. Beer usually does the trick for us, though. Victory Ale, Hop Devil or Lager is very good quality, traditionally brewed beer. Serria Nevada and Red Hook are also very high quality, too. Good luck!

I have bad breath too but Im not perfectly doing the diet yet as Nurses are cooking still. Ive got plaque on my back teeth where the tooth joins the gum, there is a bright white/yellow hard stuff. It seems quite common & may worsen the smell. My macro cousellor has told me to use Neways tooth & soaps stuff but Neways, Kingfisher don't seem powerful enough.
I was introduced to macrobiotics by a nun who overcame cancer with it. Her breath smells very bad!!!
Try flossing & if the floss stinks then it may be gum infection...
Am I missing the point here.......that bad diet causes bad breath!!??
