Help me with my pudding addiction!

Does anybody have a good recipe for chocolate pudding? I am finally ready to give up my store bought soy pudding, but I cannot find a simple macrobiotic recipe to replace it. The closest I can really find are vegan, but all of those contain sugar. The easier the better, but honestly I will go the extra mile for my love of pudding.

Why don't you just substitute the sugar for some rice syrup, or maple syrup or even just a handful of dates to sweeten it up.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not much of a desserts cook, but I'll experiment with that until I get something that works.

The other thing you can do is make really basic fruit based desserts like poached pears and fruit crumbles and stuff. That type of thing is pretty sweet and satisfying. I have quite a sweet tooth too and those type of recipes seem to help me out with that!

I don't know how far along your macro path you are - I've only been doing it for about three months now, so I'm pretty new. I have found, however, that already my sweet tooth has diminished, which is super great news for me. I don't feel like a slave to my sugar cravings quite as often anymore!

Good luck with your desserts.

Ciara

Smile Re: Help me with my pudding addiction!

I first discovered rice pudding in the hazey rave days of 2008 in Ibiza. Someone offered me some in a club, I did not know what it was, i was intrigued to say the least.......so, i thought I'm only young once so i ingested a couple tablespoons worth of "pud-pud" (which i believe was its street name). Clearly I shouldn't have taken so much for my first experience, but i regret nothing, it was the greatest trip of my life, the music tore apart my insides and i could not stop dancing....i saw walking hot dogs, floating speakings and cow with hypnotizing eyes...it was unreal! i never experienced such a trip in my life!

i have since tried rice pudding in my native turkmenistan, but nothing can replicate such a buzz i felt in the white isle......to everyone, if you are in Ibiza YOU MUST try rice pudding aka "pud-pud"

if anyone knows of any in croydinski, turkmenistan, please get in contact
