ok, i followed a recipe for homemade brine vegetable pickles to the letter from my kushi "remedies" book. It called for 1 tb salt to 3 c of water. Boiled, cooled, and add vegetables, fully emersed and put in a cheescloth covered jar for 3 days, in a cool place. Two days later i found a moldy stinky mess that almost made me want to throw away the whole jar!!!! It was only broccoli, gross! What did i do wrong?!??!?
