seaweeds for canines

Hi, just wondering if its ok to give a sheet of toasted nori every day to a dog it appears to be low in iodine. Also how about wakame, is that ok for dogs? Seems usually only kelp is mentioned.

Re: seaweeds for canines

a little seaweed is good for dogs. one sheet of nori per day is not too much. dogs are pretty tough. they have a real short digestive tract. everything goes through them pretty quick. if you are feeding commercial dog food they are already getting more than enough minerals. howard
