Questions about macrobiotics and longstanding candida albicans in blood

I have a good friend who is plagued by systemic candida- not just the usual yeast infections that women get - but in the blood. She has used the medications Diflucan and another prescription drug. She has been clean with her diet - no sugar, flour or fermented foods. She is reluctant to try macro because of all the fermented foods we eat. Does anyone have any first hand info on whether MB can help this condition and if so what would be the limitations - if any. I know she would appreciate any advice any of you have to offer. She has also done Three Lac and most of the natural remedies.

nattie,

Read the following:'The Macrobiotic Approach to the Candida Syndrome' by Michio Kushi and Alex Jack.

How's that?

Thank you, very much.
